A few days ago, after my weekend morning run I got into a very relaxing treat at Zenyu Ecospa at H2O hotel inside Manila Ocean Park.  Ia  Lim (a fellow blogger) and Dr. Eric Tan gave a bloggers treat to introduced to us, the Zenyu’s Fish Spa Treatment, their Swedish Whole Body Massage and their Hot Bed Treatment. Ia explained that  Zenyu Ecospa is the first and only spa to employ the process of deoxidation or the use of negative ions in the Philippines. Aldrin (one of the staff explained) Deoxidation therapy, or the use of antioxidants, is known to improve blood circulation, strengthen the immune system, improve metabolism and blood pressure, reduce cholesterol and body toxins, and relieve allergies, colds and constipation. Using a capillaryscope he explained how negative ions will improves blood circulation that helps promotes good health.

Wanna know how they manage to develop this kind of facilities? Ok…aside from these healthy treatment, they showed and explained how Zenyu EcoSpa also know for the name as Ecoparadise Philippines is a franchise Ecoparadise Japan, who’s well known for its deoxidation products. Ecoparadise Japan recognized the power of nature with its studies on negative ions. A clean and fresh environment means there is balance with the electrical charges of the soil and the environment. A balanced environment is rid of bacteria and viruses. They formulated a deoxidizing solution theat they include in materials such as plastics, paints, wax, bricks, tiles and other building materials, these materials mimic the bounty of nature and produce negative ions. hmmm …sounds intriguing isn’t? According to them, this deoxidiaing solution promotes the production of negative ions from the materials they infuse it with. These negative ions are free air molecules that help stabilize the effects of free radicals and positive ions.

Ok, going back to the  facilities… Aldrin explained that the mattresses used during my body massage is made of materials that emits  negative ions. The paint and the ceramics  used in constructing the hot bed is also made of materials that produces this healthy ions. Cool isn’t it?
