Again e-Games Philippines dominates SMX and accepted by a big online gamers crowd. Its fifth (5th) year anniversary celebration which was held last April 2, 2011 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City. Since 2007, the Domination event has been breaking record attendances, drawing thousands of online gamers each year. Domination II had a record attendance of more than 15,000 people, the third year anniversary – Domination III – Aftermath event had close to 21,000 gamers in which I was able to blog about it too at Qlick Tech Blog.
At Domination V, Gracenote, Pretty Young Thing, 6 CycleMind and Gloc 9 rocks! the ground floor of SMX building. Aside from that at Domination V, I was able to have some photo with the Axe Goddess Alodia Gosiengfiao. OMG, she’s so gorgeous!
Not only that, e-Games hosted an online tournaments from RAN Online, CABAL Online, Dragonica, Runes of Magic, Granado Espada, Audtion Dance Battle, Bandmaster, OP7, and Superstar Online. And that was not the end of it! Domination V provided fun offline activities and raffles!
This year’s e-Games’ Road to Domination 5 anniversary celebration is yet again different, this time they used a Steampunk theme. The e-Games Steampunk version is industrial revolution meets science fiction and fantasy. As Mr. Miguel Bauza, e-Games‘ VP for Marketing said they chose Steampunk for this year because the community loves this theme and it’s cool as well.
Domination will never be complete without the Cosplay Competition. Alot of young cosplay enthusiast join the competition not only for the prizes but for the fame as well.
According to Mr. Bauza, Domination V is the company’s way of thanking the 12 million strong e-Games community. “We continue to grow every year and our gamers’ continued dedication and loyalty to e-Games and X-Play, inspire us to give them the best online gaming events and the best gaming experience.” Mr. Bauza said.
